Objectives: | To Improve the management of coral reef and mangrove habitats through intensive research, international collaboration and the use of powerful visualization tools |
| This project concerns the use of computer technology to enable interaction between physical oceanographers, biologists and resource managers to help remedy this situation (mangroves and coral reefs are being destroyed or degraded at an alarming rate). The problem is exacerbated by the lack of communication between oceanographers, biologists and resource managers), and to assist in the further understanding and sustainable management of marine resources. |
