Objectives:Gague the relative importance of poor tidal flushing to mangrove survival and reproduction, especially propagule dispersal.
A. marina cannot cope with extended water logging (> 10 days) above the mean height of pneumatophones : good tidal flushing is essential to ensure survival and reproductive success in terms of propagule production and dispersal.
