This is a view of the Irrawaddy delta, taken in 1995. The pixel size of RESURS is about 120m. Dark red coloured areas are remaining mangrove forests. Whitish coloured areas are degraded mangrove forests area. It shows how largely the area was degraded for agricultural and other purposes. Contrast is clearly shown.
