On-line identification programme of some mangrove species now available on the web

   On-line identification programme of some mangrove species, "Mangroves and Their World" is now available on the web. The programme serves as an illustrated reference book of several mangrove species, and also shows some small animals living in mangroves, such as mudskipper, crab and shellfishes. At present, the programme mainly focuses on mangroves in Okinawa, Japan; however, ISME hopes to expand it to global level to be utilized for public awareness and youth education.
